Being a girl I didn't get anywhere near them at school.. I was trapped in a world of sewing and cooking.. I quite liked both, and they have served me well for school skills having some real world practical application, unlike the rest, like running around outside in the cold, which have mostly been proved to be a complete waste of time in the following 30 years.. I drew the line with vacuuming and dusting and babies though.. and walked out and went to the library. Waiting for next installment of lathes.. hope nobody minds if we chat around the subject of our heavy engineering and machine tools experiences while we wait?
