These shapers are very scary to use and are responsible for the loss of many body parts; A big heavy cutter block spinning at 6,000rpm is just waiting to inflict injury.

A friend of mine who worked at a local Windows and Doors Manufacturer said you could always tell the blokes who ran the Spindle Moulders 'cause they never had a full set of fingers. After a bit they always got just a bit too casual.
