So a few sets get to work again and one not rare item is broken, to me a reasonable result.
I reckon the parts sold for £8 Colin 'cos you were prepared to post them at low cost versus collection from Fearsome Bridge
. So for the whole radio you had only a small sales target against the whole of the UK for the bits.
You may have sold the complete radio if you had offered shipping.... Parcel2Go has been excellent, in my experience, and for small, light sets will do it for about £7. Of course you have to do a super job of packing and for a low value item that can be a chore. I guess for bits you just drop them in padded packets and have a walk to the PO, in that wonderful, warm spring sunnshine your area has a reputation for
