They are actually an easy convert to Isolated Chassis Joe. This just means creating an extra HT -ve with some tag strips, this has the mains connection and rectifier components + audio stuff and all the RF / IF bits are left where they are. They get back to the new -ve via a small cap, say 0.1 and I usually shunt this with 220K so it cant be left charged.

But there arent any sockets... gram... so I dont quite follow your drift. The best way, in this case, is the Home Xmitter... I beam all over the house with FM or CD.
