I too like DAC90as but think the prices they go for are plain silly. I'm yet to find a DAC90 so can't comment on those. It's all down to personal taste.
Another favourite of mine is the Murphy U198H. I would say they slightly out-perform the DAC90a and are smaller. They're nowhere near as easy to work on though.
The big disadvantage with both is that other devises can't be connected direct to them safely.
