I prefer the DAC90A ... it may have been cheap, I dont know, but not nasty. It was a very good performing and succesful radio. As you say though Paula far too many around to be interesting. As to the GEC not my style either.. why did they choose such garish colours... guess it was the time of the swinging whatever... I was around then and probably liked it thinking it was terribly modern. How much nicer the HMV Record Player from 1939, and a bunch of good condition 78's, plugged into the same era radio.
Wow! just used the "Thank You" button for the first time. Whats a clever inovation and ahead of any other Forum. I wonder if they will all copy. Another thing thats good here is that you dont get 'bleeped' for spelling mistakes. But I try not to make them, old fashioned I guess.
