Just a thought, looking at the Radio and TV servicing sheet, it shows a ferrite rod aerial. Mine has the wound frame aerial.
Unfortunately I can not see a serial number, but on the white dial background where the pointer is, it does sat FB15.
Anyway I shall have a look see, along with a nice Ever Ready Model K that a certain Sir Sydney Weaveringtonham brought round..........deja vue!
