Not 'tight' Colin - just astute! The reason a 50p piece has corners on it is so that if need be, shopkeepers can get a spanner on them to prise them out of our hands!
As to recharagable battery power tools, I'm not a big fan of them because unless you use them regularly, by the time you need them, the battery has run down. I've got one which I rarely use but which has two batteries so one can be on charge while the other is in use. As you say, they're great for driving in lots of screws, and handy for people such as kitchen and bedroom fitters etc., but not for occasional use by hobbyists.
The fence erectors who've been putting up a close boarded fence on a site at the rear of our property have done an excellent job, and boy do those guys graft. They fired the 2" nails into the boards with gas powered nail guns that use disposable gas canisters rather than compressed air. They must whack in thousands of nails in a day - the bit of fence at the end of our garden bordering onto our property is 70 ft long, and four boards cover one linear foot, so that's 280 boards, four nails to each board, so that's just over 1,100 nails. I've no idea how many nails a canister will do. It took them just four hours to bore post holes with a powered auger, concrete the posts in with quick set post-mix, and put the fence up with nail guns.
None of which has anything at all to do with angle drive attachments - jusst tools and techniques.
