1 Guinea = 1 Pound One Shilling. This would be £1.05 in today's money.
Therefore..
15 Guines = 1 Pound 15 Shillings. which works out at £15,75.
That would be the 1930 price, in 2010 this would be £770.00 !!
Most people would rent or buy on HP.
