Thanks for that Rob, I have my Strat copy but I can't really play well, like most kids in the 60's a guitar was the thing to have, I could not afford one back then but my friend managed to get one so we used to share playing it or should I say attempt to play it, it had an action similar to a set of tram line wires...I can knock out a few chords and pick a couple of riffs if I try, mainly blues/folk. It has always been a regret that I did not pursue it further, it's standing hear now in the corner as I write, have not picked it up in 12 months.....just strummed in open, it still sounds in tune, I gutted my practice amp to get some of my radio projects going, one of my comms receivers a Hallicrafters has a gram input and 8 watts out, I have a simple Korg Toneworks so could probably get it to sound ok through that, I will have to give it a go sometime.
