I can just see you lounging on a Chaise Longue dressed in a toga and nibbling on a bunch of grapes. The mind boggles.
How about a thick curtain behind the garage door to keep some of the wind out? Even if it isn't entirely successful it would probably feel more cosy, like my wall.
