Well it is working, but seems a little deaf, more so on VHF, so plan for today is change the cap that Rob t mentioned, on the bush service sheet it is C68, 0.001uf, it couples the anode of the output valve EL84 to the grid of the EZ81 rectifier, (hope I got that correct).
The left speaker is also dead, but on further investigation, the cone is pushed outwards, and the moving coil is not sitting in the magnet, try a replacment ECC85, to see if it brings the VHF reception up a tad, and start to replace some of the nasty green and brown hunts caps, which are in abundance on this set.
