I should really have said last night how I went about fitting the new speaker cloth.
The original was pasted to the front instead of being fixed to the baffle board. I was worried about getting glue on the new cloth so I glue-gunned the top edge and then gradually worked my way down. Obviously the glue was hardening before I could properly do it but I made sure that there were beads of glue along all the ribs of the fret work. Then it was basically fitted I went over it with the iron to remelt this adhesive and firmly stick the cloth thereto.
It was nice to see Alan again and I look forward to reading about his side of the job.
