Many thanks for the kind comments in post #1 David. I'll dig out the knob pictures and put them on the appropriate thread.
What a lovely job you've made of these knobs and also christened your Lorch Lathe whilst doing so.
Bron and I have excellent examples of your wood turning and now you are also moving over onto an engineering lathe which will give you a great deal of pleasure. I bet once you start to really use the Lorch you will wonder how you ever managed without it.
I wouldn't worry too much about using epoxy because if the worst happens and the joints fail you still have the lathe to make more. Well done David you've done a good job at your first attempt and I hope it won't be long before you are teaching me new tricks.
Its a lot different to wood turning isn't it?
I wouldn't be without a lathe and have just been in the garage for a couple of happy hours working on mine.
