Anna lives next door and has a shop down the road.
I'm maintaining a low profile on the subject of lathes and turning.
Alan
What a talented and creative lady!
I notice that one of her outlets is the Ropewalk gallery at Barton on Humber, which we visit quite often as it's just the other side of the Humber Bridge. Until the 1980s it was a working rope factory which had been established for 200 years. The ropewalk, along which they walked as they made the ropes is the longest brick building in Britain - a quarter of a mile long, to make hawsers for ships, which were exported the world over. It now houses artists workshops and a gallery where a wide range of artwork is on sale such as glass, pottery and paintings. It also has exhibitions and a small concert hall where they show films and hold gigs.
What's with the "I'm keeping a low profile on lathes and turning" malarkey Alan? You're not turning into a monk or something are you:-/
