Hi Rob, struggling to find data on this one, rectifier valve is a 25re,
but looking at equivalent valves, (25y5 or 25z5) looks like the maximum ripple current is rated at 16uf, could someone who has the data be so kind as to check this for me.

Also equivalent to CV555 by the looks of it.
Looks like I need to find a suitable capaccitoor.
