Damn and blast !! 4 years ago when I closed the family business I had to scrap lots of acquired paraphernalia out of necessity due to a lack of storage space. Amongst this stuff were 12, yes 12, HD 3 phase TX's salvaged from 4 big ex MOD PSU's ! I just weighed them in at the scrappy !! My reluctance to do that was extreme but I literally had no where to store them, I just knew that one day I was going to need them, and voila, here is that day !
Col, I can't thank you enough for taking time to share this project with us ! I have various 3 phase stuff I have been waiting to use for years, including an ancient compressor of Brunelian quality that I saved from being scrapped. It works perfectly and is so substantial that it will see me out a few times over ! Then there is my beloved Murex TIG welder that I am dying to get back into use ! Now that I know there is a viable method for using 3 phase equipment on a domestic supply I can exploit the myriad of stuff that is industrial quality and appears so cheap !
I will order the DVD's asap !
