Lucky that the damage to the PSU didn't knock on to the receiver itself.
I like the styling of Sailor stuff - very much in keeping with a marine environment, and as befits its role, water resistant. Bearing in mind just how big the shipping fleet is into which these radios were installed over many years, I dare say that there's actually quite a lot of these sets around. I've been in touch with Stef Niewiadomski who writes extensively in Radio Bygones and the BVWS Bulletin, and had written the Sailor article in the Winter BVWS Bull about the Sailor 66T, in which he added a PSU and speaker unit. He still uses his Sailor daily. He'd appealed for the manual, which I had, so was able to forward it to him.
I must keep my eyes peeled for one!
