Lucky swine! I've wanted one of those Pyes for ages!
As mentioned they use a Mullard unit, LP1156 I believe. AF117 transistors inside.... Also the same as the Ferranti A1149 and Ekco A455. Uses the cabinet from the Ekco U332 and Ferranti U1015 valve sets.
The Philips is a nice set, as is the Cossor (got one of those in my to do pile).
