It's going to need a good clean and I've discovered that that oxygenating stuff is great; Vanish Oxy-Action is the famous one but you can get it in Poundland.
I had an old IBM keyboard that was absolutely loppy so I took all the tops off and dropped them in a bowl of that. In literally a couple of seconds they were clean and the water like ox-tail soup. No rubbing, scrubbing or anything.
I'll do some more work on them on Wednesday - it's Doggy Day tomorrow.
