Been working on this today.
I have had to change the on/off volume switch, changed some caps that were leaky and some rewiring (the battery plug and frame aerial wiring). Plugged into the battery eliminator..............and it is halfway working.
Sport radio on MW is the only station and nothing on LW, not even R4, so wavechange switch cleaning and some more investigation required.
I have used a donor speaker to test the set. Hopefully the original can be repaired. it just looks like the magnet has moved
