Bought a couple of part worn winter tyres off ebay for my Xantia last December, couldn't find any extra wheels at the time so they had to go on the existing ones.
They worked like magic ! Have never used winter tyres before but I will be from now on ! It's not only ice and snow they make more manageable, it's very cold conditions too. They provide much more grip and therefore much improved braking on very cold roads.
They will do another winter too so they are the best bargain I've had for the car ever !
