The "extra" noise which annoys me is the squeeks some cars, BMTroubleyous for example, make when you lock or unlock them remotely. Why??? The only reason I can think of is if the "locker" is blind and cannot see the indicators flash and, of course, if you're blind, why are you locking a car :s.
