Do a single bulb version first, when working post the results. I can't see the need far a variac and a lamp limiter (someone is bound to say why). |
I have never had a lamp limiter but I did make a "fan heater" i.e. a 3kW bulb, limiter for some particularly troublesome SMPS's at work a while ago, this was only done to stop the lab ring main tripping. We, the engineers, forbidden to reset the trip (company rules!!), had to call in the in the maintenance team. That took hours.
You know the thing, all singing and dancing "web portal" for all our needs.
