The first uk colour cameras used G101 cable. Makes the TV36 etc used with image orthicons look lightweight. We run Marconi Mk VII cameras at the Broadcast Engineering Museum. Wrangling G101 is hard work. The connectors whack your ankle and hurt when you carry a coil over you shoulder.
The Philips LDK5 with triax cable was revolutionary. The inner carried all power and signals . first screen was nominal 0V. Outer screen was safety earth.
