I was checking out a turntable, ahead of offering it for sale at Retrotech. It's a Pioneer PL-400X with (I think) an Audio-Technica cartridge. I grabbed a record that I don't ever recall playing before and it sounded lovely.
We all know "His Master's Voice" and I've seen "Le voix de son maitre" on French HMV discs. I've never seen the Spanish version before. "La voz de su amo". My wife, who knows some Spanish, assures me that this reads as it seems: "The voice of his friend". A cultural difference between countries in how the relationship between man and dog is seen.
