It's not long when I, and many others, get some new gear start altering it. :-)
So with my S50. This has a very narrow angle of view. I have a light weight Sony RX100 7 camera which has mechanical zoom and built in timer for multiple imaging.
I have no intention of selling my S50 so I have superglued (!) a camera tripod ball and socket to the arm of the S50 in line with its bearings. Now when the S50 is scanning part of the sky the RX100 can be imaging another part as S50 is EQ mounted now. (no field rotation).
Waiting for a clear sky to retest it.
