You need someone nearby as shipping anything bakelite is tricky. Actually shipping anything, even packed in a box, padded inside a box only mostly works. One person saw the box I'd sent him literally being thrown out of the back of the truck. I once had a PC case delivered and thought the tyre mark on the carton was odd. The cardboard and internal foam packing had sprung back, but one end of the case was completely crushed.
