I'm re-flashing the SD card again and after following the instructions in post 61 I'll see if sudo rpi-update pulls/5867
finishes its download properly this time.
I'll do it in the morning though,

Nope! You shouldn't need to do that pull!!

That code is now built into the standard Bookworm distribution. i.e. is already there when you burn the RPi Bookworm image
