Yes indeed. The SD card got corrupted so I downloaded the the latest version of raspberry pi OS but I get so far and the above file seems to be not fully available or getting misread in some, I'm basically lost unfortunately.

The implication is that support is now native in Bookworm... You shouldn't need any other download...
