Those wires go to an LED lamp, as a torch, at the rear of the case. Coudnt get the LED out easily, or the plug in board with paint, so safer to cut the wires and remake and sleeve. Yes! it is a different PCB.
There was a lot of black dust around which I extracted with strips of masking tape. Fortunatley it is not magnetic or conductive. So must be plastic, wonder if its from the second stage pump piston?
