At the Broadcast Engineering Museum we may take some random 1/2" tape to put on our empty VERA spool.

Astonishingly, we've just been given two VERA tape heads, both brand new in box. Thank you Chris Toby.

Not only does the Broadcast Engineering Museum now hold the largest collection of VERA parts (including the spool in a cabinet shown in that thread) but we also have the Marconi Stille audio recorder on loan from BBC Archives. The Science Museum has an M-S machine, in nicer condition than ours. I think there's another M-S machine in the Czech Republic. The remaining VERA parts (a spool and a tape head) are held by the Science Museum.
