Another fine write-up. Extension speakers were an important part of radio history and are rather neglected by most. I see you've got the hang of inserting pictures.
I was surprised by the conversion to today's value so I went to the very useful site: https://www.measuringworth.com/calculato...evalue.php Around £750 is correct, using the RPI measure. It's even more scary if you use the "labour earnings" comparison at over £2000. This shows how value compares to average income over the same time period.
I think this must have been a de-luxe extension speaker.
