Apparently there's enough UV emitted by a tungsten halogen linear lamp to expose PCB etch resist, this being the method proposed by one site.
Does anyone else remember the big UV lamp thingie at the health centre a lifetime ago? (i.e. late 50s early 60s).
I can remember the smell of proper ozone and wearing the eye protection.
Dunno what it was supposed to do to me other than generate vitamin D.

The one I remember was a mercury vapour lamp shown further on.
