The MC44CC373/MC44CC374 seems to replace earlier MC44BS373/MC44BS374 with a different process and some slight differences (such as AUX in on the 16 lead part).
The MC44CM373/4 seems to be later still and a replacement for the BS

The MC44CM373CASEF has a secondary I2C
address for applications using two modulators
on one I2C Bus.
