As Jeffrey has said it is something that I could try on one of the Hedghogs sometime. I think I remember trying a frequency a little lower than 4 MHz at one stage. I cannot remember why I tried it or what was the result.
The QFN20 ones would be a better choice for the system A modulators as 2 different I2c addresses can be selected. I would have used them but they are extremely rare for some reason. I manage to get one many years ago. So they do exist.
