The 15GP22 was last tested in 1998! It had bright getters and good emission on all 3 guns. It was placed into a foamed cardboard box and foamed in place. This was then put into a wooden crate with foam corners, and put into the container. It’s been uncrated but never unboxed, perhaps it’s time I did and checked out the state of the getters!
The rest of the set is in fairly good shape, I did quite a lot of recapping 20 years ago but there is still a lot. Roll on retirement!
I remember the trip to get it very well, my wife and I drove from Austin Texas to Lexington Kentucky in a van I’d borrowed from work about 1000 miles each way! After a couple of hours driving I started to feel unwell, and went down with what I later learned was flu! So she did the rest of the driving, which included hitting a dog (it survived) on the way back. I no longer have that particular wife but got to keep the CT-100!

My RCA has a perfect appearance and a terrible CRT. Unfortunately, at present it is only an interesting piece of furniture.
