Yes I’m sure it would only have curiosity value. The 819 line picture hardly seems better than 625 to my eye. Though I’m probably not as discerning as some. I recall the first time I saw 525 NTSC in the US in 1988. I’d always assumed it was much inferior to 625 PAL, so was shocked at just how good it looked, by then it was giving stable colours and very good picture quality. So I guess 819 lines was rather like  other great French eccentric engineering, a solution looking for a problem, think Citroen DS or even SECAM, System Essentially Contrary to American Method!
In a subsequent trip to the US I bought an RCA CT-100 and it awaits restoration!

RCA CT-100 is a rare TV in Europe. Does he have a working CRT?
