They are quite expensive and inefficient, but that's a separate issue. A well insulated compartment for the milk would mean a small one or none at all would be needed. However none of the ones I've seen have any built in storage for milk, sugar or anything else.
People that are not fussy could of course use tea or instant coffee and UHT milk, though instant coffee powder will go noticeably sticky and more bitter exposed over night. I proved this to my dad many years ago because he had bought a giant catering tin for the three of us. I put a teaspoon of the powder at teatime in a cup. He didn't take sugar. He tried it at breakfast time and after that only bought smallest jars!
I gave up instant coffee a couple of years later, though not ground coffee.
