Ed, trouble is the occasional zealot will attack me publicly for not being"green" or a nimby. At our age, we don't need that.
Still waiting for replies to phone messages. Tried submitting my objection online, rejected reason needs to be less than 3800 characters. Reduced it to 3700, still no go. Will phone council tomorrow.
Fingers crossed there are enough errors to get it resubmitted. Together with a second deadline.
One objection being it is virtually impossible to get any closer to the 5 of 6 schools in town, together with all the houses. Possibly moving say 200 metres North could just achieve it, but that is where their new factory is!. But the applicant owns all that land anyway!
At least I have had some lovely kind comments thanking me for my efforts. Helps us both to cope in these upsetting times.
