Just had an email from a lady I visited Sunday. She has spoken to an independent town councillor. He feels it will go ahead for the very reason that town councillors are far outnumbered by out of town councillors on the planning committee as they dont want it on their own doorstep as there might be a very few houses within the area that would be affected.
The fact it's proposed site is almost on the development/countryside boundary and is within a km of thousands of school children at the only 3 secondary schools plus 2 junior and all the households doesn't count.
