What effect on efficiency at television frequencies would the tightly wound inner core of car radio feeder had?

Changing from tungsten to LED lamps I save 8 amps. Admittedly that is my total saving but I don't feel tempted to install an Ekco portable. http://www.nostalgiatech.co.uk/LED%20Lighting.htm
