A slightly disingenuous reply.
Because of poor rearward visibility in my old car I decided to install a reversing camera with radio connection between camera and monitor. Reception was OK in my driveway but out on the open road the proximity of other vehicle and building caused reception to vary widely from acceptable to zero. The end result was that I replaced the radio link with a coaxial video link. (It is my intention to use the system full time and not simply for reversing.) I am hoping it will reduce my blind spot for lane changing. http://www.nostalgiatech.co.uk/Reversing%20Camera.htm
