I expect many of you will have had a look at this Auction tomorrow?

A friend reckons 'local' auctions are better than the BVWS, using Wooten Bassett as an example as this used to get the best prices. Been a bit down lately as the radio hobby is despondent with the closing of all the AM programmes.
As he says you dont have a long drive, no packing as with Ebay and they have the Internet and online bidding.
But this is where the Non radio auction breaks down. They don't understand what they have and don't provide enough information.
I asked about Lot 97, an A22 Ekco at £70 to £100 estimate
:
Did it have any chips or cracks and could I have a picture of the inside. They did get back to me and with this which was good. But it surprised me that they didnt add it to the listing! Cant they take a hint ?
Be good for me if I was bidding but I'm not even though I have to go that way in a few weeks.
Other examples are 975, 1000, 1003, 1004 and more which used to be far more valuable than their estimates.
Makes having High on-line bidding unlikely and many radios will maybe go to people, at lower prices, who can attend.
