Reckon it would run the boiler OK but what about the TV?  Would that object to a not completely sine wave supply.  If a PC monitor is OK on it than you would think a TV, although larger, wouldnt object either.

How much power does a modern TV take?

Don't  forget that the pump might not like the waveform?
The link, following through to more  gives 4.5kg weight, (not big batteries?) wireless type  as Radio Frequency and 4gb ram!
It also states 500va /300 watts. I wonder if the 500va is max power from the iec when it is running on mains? 300W max converted output maybe?

I agree the data is not all that useful. It even says that there is a lithium battery in the bit where it says it has all that RAM.

The line interactive nature of the ups should not matter to the TV as the TV will have an SMPS PSU which will just rectify its mains input and then work with the resulting HV DC.

i.e. the nature of the ups output should not matter.

Your boiler must be for a single cup!!!. 300 watts is tiny. Plus a UPS is just big enough to give you time to shut down the computer nicely. Its not designed to run more than about 10 minutes.
The transformers in these little tiddlers is about 100 watts core size. After the 10 mins or so that the battery lasts that transformer will be way to hot to touch.

One of the comments in the feedback says, Throw it away after 2-3 years and buy another.

The battery is a 12V 7.2 Ah. So wont power anything for very long.

The SE runtime calculator says 1:20 @ 300W and 5:00 at 190W (which is roughly what a modern PC draws) - those numbers seem not to relate to each other but that's what se say ..

I guess what I should have said is :  Thats designed for small computers, its not an inverter.
An inverter will run all sorts of stuff, and mostly new modern ones are pure sine wave ( some even better than the mains )
BUT you will have to supply the batteries. The last solar system I installed ( a VERY small one )
uses 24 volt batteries rated at 500 Ah and cost $9000.00

It runs a small inverter fridge and the TV, ( TV is modern LCD drawing 80 watts ) plus all the lighting ( mostly flourescent ) for 12 hours.
The inverter itself cost an additional $3000.00. It is pure sine wave and made in Australia, its not an import.
Its rated at 1800 watts continous maximum with 2400 watt surge rating.

The kettle is boiled on the gas stove.

I see it now as Joe said; it wont run anything for long. Its is intended to keep the PC up and give you time to save your work and then shut down properly. Think it actually says that ... just me going off at a tangent for the possible power cuts this winter.

Sounds like the standard 12V SLA Gel pack. It's purely to run a PC or small server long enough to save work and shut down. I have two such UPSes and the battery packs need replaced every couple of years. One is on my small server and network gear and the other on an Optiplex mini-workstation & 4k screen that replaced my laptop as I don't go anywhere. Laptops have the advantage over "All-in-one" PCs (that are often laptop like MoBos) of having a decent built in "UPS".

Some UPS boxes can be adapted easily to use a small car battery giving about x5 to x7 run time.

It's sort of fashionable now for solar systems and UPS to have Lithium batteries, but the advantage of Lithium is purely low weight for cars and tools. The Lead acid is safer, cheaper, 100% recycled and weight is no issue for Solar power or UPS systems. Serious solar power has inverters driven by panels (Nominal up to 45V) to charge 48V nominal batteries (as car is 14V approx charged, they are 56V fully charged). Then the 48V battery system drives inverters to give AC mains. There may optionally be electronics to feed the grid and/or smart charge the batteries. Some solar systems save money by having no batteries and only feed grid excess power. A decent set of batteries costs more than standard panels.
