The radio is a rare Ferranti Arcadia (never seen another) that I restored many moons ago. It never had a back over the top half and I made one recently from hardboard. The diamond hole patterns were made using a beautiful jig from Colin (Retired). Then the back was sprayed with a few coats of Zinsser shellac before matt lacquer.
But I needed a decal for it? So its a black on gold decal: have I found a source with an Alpes printer? No! so how did I do it? "Answers on a postcard".
I did have a contact who would print a sheet of Letter paper sized decals on his Alpes for $6 but alas he packed up his restoration business.
The bottom chassis info was made using gold foil paper spray mounted to card. Lot of layout effort and the foil paper was printed on a laser printer.
Oh! looks a bit bare without a front pic ...
