Not sure how i did it but I got my car into this space. I may have temporarily deflected the bumper of the car behind by a couple of inches but even so it looks impossible. But I did it and I think it was fewer than 10 times lock to lock.

Fortuantely one of the cars had moved by the time I had to leave.

Must be the advantage of cars with rounded fronts and rears.

My mates and I once 'bounced' my car into a gap about that size. But the fact that it can be driven in is genuinely impressive. You're not very near the kerb though, are you .

The parking availability in Southwold was dire that day. I thought the space was longer than it actually was, otherwise I wouldn't have attempted it.

From the same trip I've attached a photo of the lighthouse at Orford Ness. The Ness is a strange place, with a lot of military history from WW1 to the atomic age. Now it's National Trust. The ex BBC transmitter station is no longer used though the aerials are still there. Its future is uncertain.

I had to get something out of my boot after I parked. Had to unload the stuff on the back seats, pull down the back seats and ferret around from inside the car.

The cars each side of me did have adequate space to move.
