Hi All,
I'm trying to spend more time working from home where I can have peace and quiet and crack on with paperwork that I have to deal with for work. As such, I've been having a tidy up of my 'office' (man cave really) and I'm not sure what to do with an older laptop and accessories to it. It was a truly wonderful bit of kit in its day (I suppose thats the issue) but with the demise of windows 2000/xp it appears that its time that it was ditched. It doesnt appear to want to install any Linux based software as it BIG downfall is the boot configuration of the seperate cdrom drive which is installed through a PC card slot so it crashes during installation.
I've tried donating it but I'm told that its processor is too slow and as such isn't of any use to anyone!
My head tells me to take it down the tip but my heart tells me to keep it. I've a stack of accessories for it that cost a fortune when I bought them for it too.
Rob
