hello i'm new to the site. Cannot believe the help i have received and knowledge gained after a week or so . many thanks to all.
i am big 60 now and always been interested in repairing tackling anything. In electronics always the obvious. burnt out items etc Anything more complicated e.g I would strip the board out take to aitken bros newcastle upon tyne (electronics shop) closed down now. There the lad would say it.s either this or that i would buy a few bits and i reckon i always got the Item working again. left to my own devises i have had to think a little harder so the project i'm doing now i divided and worked out the different sections. power supply, amp etc, I know there is a lot of technology in the components and layout of circuits etc etc but i reckon with help and learning about components uses and applications i will be able to repair/restore items and get great satisfaction at the same time. thankyou richie
