Pye VHF3D

Hi All,
I've just purchased one of these (monstrosity according to Mr Beckett) and have yet to collect this.
Apart from the service sheet, etc (have this) there really doesnt appear to be much information around about these.

Has anyone worked on one of these radios, are they any good, do they have any issues??

You should be getting your lathe(?) going
Did you buy the shiny one with the extra portable?
Unfortunately I haven't got round to firing mine up yet. I've got the R&TVS data which is a peculiar mixture of VHF2D, VHF3D and the Gram versions - generally a shambles.
Any extra data would be gratefully received.

It doesn't appear that there is a trader sheet for the VHF3D but only the service sheets.
